Wapato Lake has been a popular recreational destination since the late 19th Century, but over time the park began to lose its coherence, and the health of the lake and plantings had declined. Working with the community, Site Workshop improved circulation and way-finding, and added lakeside plantings to improve water quality and reestablish the natural character of the lake.
