Site Workshop collaborated with the University of Washington to create a new gateway to campus as part of the Molecular Engineering building. The design creates an accessible pedestrian promenade that connects Stephens Way to Grant Lane while preserving existing trees and Grant Lane's character. The new underground building has a landscaped lid with a sunny lawn and a stormwater channel.
