As a landscape architect, Rebecca sees her role in designing public spaces and gardens as helping to restore habitat to cities and humans to our role in the natural world. With her keen interest in native plants, Rebecca sees each project as an opportunity to highlight a community of plants specific to the site. Her degrees in studio art from Oberlin College and dual-degrees in architecture and landscape architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, give Rebecca a wide range of design tools and broad curiosity with which to approach each project. She enjoys collaborating with other design teams to find a project’s shared conceptual and formal language. Rebecca previously worked at GGN for eight years at their Seattle office on local and West coast projects. In her spare time she is a mom, gardener, cook, and hiker.
