The Edwin Pratt Early Learning Center is a new public preschool featuring private, outdoor nature play spaces accessible just out the door from each classroom. Teachers and students can also enjoy excursions to themed environments including an orchard, woodland forest, music meadow, and a beach scene that are a short walk away from the classrooms at the north end of the site. A native palette of plants, and vegetable gardens in the outdoor classrooms, in addition to edible plants throughout the site teach connections to and stewardship for the natural world.
