Cyrus Deloye
Cyrus is passionate about cultivating unique horticultural and artful experiences throughout the urban realm. He is inspired by the ability of plants to elevate spaces that evoke certain memories and histories, and in how they are uniquely suited to remediate, restitch, and rejuvenate our shared landscapes at the same time. Cyrus is excited to work on projects that propel and amplify social values around integrating ecological systems and the miracle of plants as much as possible into our daily lives.
Cyrus found landscape architecture through green roofing and worked on commercial construction and maintenance projects before moving to Seattle to earn his MLA at the University of Washington. Originally from Chicago, Cyrus received a B.A. in Biology from Carleton College in Minnesota where he focused on evolutionary ecology in urban environments. He loves making 3D models and taking photos of plants wherever he goes.
When he’s not staring at a screen, Cyrus is probably out at a concert, the nearest park, or the grocery store on an empty stomach.
