Madison Hutchings
Madison is passionate about creating a world she wants to live in - one with easy mobility, beauty and awe around every corner, vibrant communities, and daily surprises. She approaches landscape architecture holistically, aiming to shape social behavior and design spaces that drive meaningful change. Madison deeply believes in the role of landscape architecture and urban design in solving many of society’s challenges.
She earned her degree in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech in 2021 then spent 3 years working at Lionheart Places in Austin TX. At Lionheart she gained experience working on large-scale projects, including a masterplan that reimagined a 28-acre Shell gas site into a vibrant community park and IH-35 Cap and Stitch which aimed to reconnect divided communities with 30+ acres of new park space overtop the interstate that currently goes through the heart of Austin.
Madison is excited to be back in Seattle, her favorite city, and looks forward to spending her free time hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, traveling, and hanging out by campfires with friends. When not outdoors, Madison loves to build puzzles, make earrings, and host game nights.
