The integrated design process for this project included students, faculty, staff, and community to provide students a place to connect with nature, and each other. The landscape includes an extensive permaculture garden, a preserved forest and wetlands. Stormwater from the building roofs and paved areas is conveyed to a bio-filtration swale, where it is treated prior to recharging existing wetlands.
